  • Amby Burfoot
    Amby Burfoot
    RUNNING

    Amby Burfoot was the winner of the 1968 Boston Marathon and has run in the prestigious event 24 times. After retiring from professional running, he went on to become a decorated running coach, journalist, and author. For many years, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Runner’s World magazine. His articles have been published in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Newsweek, among other top publications. He has authored and co-authored six books to date. At fitpage, Amby is a principal advisor who helps conceptualize and develop our content and fitness plans, contributing immensely to the company’s growth.

  • Addie Bracy
    Addie Bracy

    Addie Bracy holds a Master’s Degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver. She has qualified for three Olympic trials - twice in the marathon and once in the 10,000m (10K) race. Addie has won three USATF National Championships and was selected to compete internationally in 10 USA teams. In 2017, she was a scoring member of the nation’s Gold Medal Team at the World Championships for Mountain Running. Her beliefs about the mental side of performance come from her active involvement in sports for about 20 years. Addie is an AASP-recognized Certified Mental Performance Consultant.

    Daniel is the Head Coach of Running at Fitpage. He is a long distance runner and also the Head Coach at Nike Run Club, India since 2008. He is a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength Conditioning Association (NSCA), USA and teaches at the Exercise Science Academy (affiliated to ACSM-USA), Mumbai.

    Rick Prince holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and, is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is the founder of United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA), the leading endurance sports education company that educates and certifies running, triathlon and ultrarunning coaches. He has over 20 years experience in the fitness and endurance sports industries. Outside of work, Rick enjoys the outdoors, running, cycling and spending time with his wife and son.

    Daniel J. Green is the Senior Project Manager and Editor for Publications and Content Development at the American Council on Exercise (ACE). In addition to writing articles and blogs for ACE, Daniel is the managing editor of the organization’s textbooks and study materials. He has also been a contributor to NBCbetter.com, where he wrote a blog series covering his personal experience with lifestyle change. He has been working in the fitness industry since 1998.

    Brodie Sharpe holds Bachelor in Health Science (BhlthSci) and a Masters degree in Physiotherapy (MPhysioPrac, APAM). Brodie also hosts the Run Smarter Podcast and is the owner of the Run Smarter Physiotherapy clinic. He is on a mission to bring clarity to runners, who want to reduce their risk of injury, overcome their current injury, or improve their performance. Outside of treating runners, he loves trail running, cycling, and watching Australia play test match cricket.

    Scott Douglas has held senior editorial positions at 'Runner's World' and 'Running Times', and has also written about running, fitness, and health for publications such as the 'Washington Post', 'The Atlantic', and 'Outside'. He is the author or co-author of several well-known books, including 'Advanced Marathoning', 'Meb for Mortals', 'Running Is My Therapy', and 'The Genius of Athletes'. A resident of North Yarmouth, Maine, USA, Scott has been a daily runner for more than 40 years.

    Dale Harris holds a Doctorate in Exercise and Sports Science. He specialises in strength and conditioning strategies and has worked with a wide variety of populations. He has formerly been the head of department for Inspire Institute of Sport (India), where he oversaw the development of the strength and conditioning programs. Now, Dale works as a Lecturer in Exercise and Sports Science at Victoria University, Melbourne, where he continues to investigate the use of clinical balance and physical function strategies for people with neurological conditions. He has also published several peer-review journal articles on sports science technologies and elite athletic physiological profiling.

    Amber Sayer is a fitness, nutrition, and wellness writer and editor, and contributes to several fitness, health, and running websites and publications. She holds two Masters degrees —one in Exercise Science and one in Prosthetics and Orthotics. As a certified personal trainer and running coach for 12 years, Amber enjoys staying active and helping others do so as well. In her free time, she likes running, cycling, cooking, and tackling any type of puzzle.

    Anubhav Karmakar is a USATF-certified coach with diverse racing and coaching experience in endurance sports like marathons, triathlons and road cycling. As an athlete, he has finished as the top Indian at the Boston Marathon 2019 and New York City Marathon 2019 with a Personal Best time of 02 hrs 38 mins. His recent podiums include the Tata Mumbai Marathon and New Delhi Marathon. An engineer with a Master's degree in Business, he has served Fortune 500 clients for several years before turning into a coaching professional.

    Pete McCall is the host of the All About Fitness podcast and author of Smarter Workouts: the Science of Exercise Made Simple and the upcoming Ageless Intensity. He holds a MS in exercise science and has been educating fitness professionals since 2002. Currently, Pete lives in Carlsbad, CA, USA where he is a master trainer for Core Health & Fitness, a writer and blogger for the American Council on Exercise, an online instructor for NASM, as well as a coach for the Coastal Dragons Youth Rugby Club.

    Andrew Gregg is a Chiropractor and Strength and Conditioning Specialist for the HOKA ONE ONE Northern Arizona Elite, a widely acclaimed professional distance running group. Living in Flagstaff, Arizona, an altitude training mecca, his clinic has been centered around world-renowned altitude training camps. Andrew has 8 years experience of working with numerous Olympic, world class, and competitive age group athletes from across the globe.

    Shikhar Suman is an exercise physiologist and strength coach, and holds a Master’s degree in sport and health sciences from the University of Exeter, UK. He has worked with sporting bodies and institutes such as Exeter City Football Club, Delhi Hurricanes, Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools, and The British School, New Delhi. Shikhar founded his strength and performance centre in 2018 in New Delhi.

    Rachel Laymon is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with over 10 years of experience in a variety of nutrition and health care settings. Additionally, she is a UESCA Certified Running Coach, Certified Ultrarunning Coach, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and the owner of Run Well Be Well, LLC., where she coaches runners of all backgrounds to new PRs and accomplishments. She’s passionate about the sport of running and has experience racing distances up to the 50k. At home, she is a wife of nearly 6 years and mother of two young children.

    Robert Henning is the owner and head coach at Pacer Running, Cape Town, South Africa, and focuses on coaching ultra trail runners. He is a competitive trail runner, and has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years. Robert holds a BSc in Sport Science with a BScHons in Physiological Science, and is currently completing his MSc in Sport Science, specifically examining variables of economy in ultra trail runners in zero-drop shoes versus regular shoes.

Outside of running, Yash is an investor and is passionate about fintech.

    Vivek 'Viv' Menon is a certified Ironman Coach, Triathlete, and holds a black-belt in Karate. He has also represented India in the International Karate championships held in Malaysia, where he stood third. As a runner/ triathlete/ coach, he is well versed with identifying injuries and working towards injury prevention. He has a well-rounded knowledge of running footwear, types of shoes such as neutral, stable, barefoot, and gear such as GPS watches, foot-pods, run dynamics/ gait devices. He also pursues a demanding work life as the CTO of a Banking Product company and is a technical mentor/ investor in start-ups

    Volker Maeir is specialized in training with power, and coaches elite athletes. He is the owner of Peaks Coaching Group Germany with worldwide clients and has organized training camps in India as well. He has a degree in sport science and is a retired instructor and fighter pilot with the German Air Force. Volker is passionate about biking, and has completed multiple certifications in cycling within the US and Germany.

    Panchali Moitra is a qualified Nutritionist, academician and competent researcher with over two decades of experience in management, research and counseling. She is presently engaged as an Assistant Professor in the postgraduate department of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics at Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. She is a certified Diabetes Educator, Yoga Trainer, accredited Tutor for FAO- ENACT Nutrition Education course and expert faculty at ACSM certified Exercise Science Academy.

    Dr Nivedita Dube, an alumna of the National Institute of Nutrition, India and an experienced therapeutic nutritionist, has authored multiple research articles, as she closes in on a decade of nutrition research experience. She is a firm believer in preventive nutrition therapy, with an active interest in enhancing women's reproductive health and well-being. Currently based in the UK, she loves hiking in the countryside and likes to explore nutritious foods from cultures across the globe.
