Ep 95: Sushant Dash, CEO Tata Starbucks on his Running Journey and How it Helps Him Plan and Lead Better
In this episode of Run with Fitpage, we had the pleasure of hosting Sushant Dash, who is the CEO of Tata Starbucks. Sushant is a runner and talks with our host Vikas about his running journey, managing time, coffee, and a lot more in the 95th episode.
Dash graduated in economics from Ravenshaw University in Cuttack in 1994. In 1996, he joined as Associate Research Director in ORG Marg. Then he joined Tata Tea Ltd in 2001 and became a Senior Manager at Tata Tea Premium. He used to be a sprinter and played football and cricket at school. All of this took a backseat when he joined college and found “more exciting and interesting things” to occupy his time. In his late twenties, Sushant realized the importance of exercise and sports.
Sushant trains around 10-12 hours per week on a normal basis, and a little more when he is training for marathons. He recently ran the Berlin Marathon and trains with Pacemakers under very respected Pani sir.
Vikas hosts this weekly podcast and enjoys nerding over-exercise physiology, nutrition, and endurance sport in general. He aims to get people to get out and ‘move’. When he is not working, he is found running, almost always. He can be found on nearly all social media channels but Instagram is preferred:)
