For our first episode, we are joined by Rick Prince. Rick has been in the endurance sports coaching and fitness industry for over two decades. Our topic of discussion for today is ‘How to get started with running’. This interaction is aimed at an absolute beginner runner who has just taken up running or planning to get started. Rick Prince holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is the founder of United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA), the leading endurance sports education company that educates and certifies running, triathlon and ultra running coaches. He has over 20 years of experience in the fitness and endurance sports industries. Outside of work, Rick enjoys the outdoors, running, cycling and spending time with his wife and son.
Vikas Singh, an MBA from Chicago Booth, worked at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, APGlobale and Reliance before coming up with an idea of democratizing fitness knowledge and help beginners get on a fitness journey. An avid long-distance runner himself, Vikas is building fitpage to help people learn, train and move better.
