How to Differentiate between Heartburn and Chest Pain
Heartburn and chest pain may often be confused for one another. Heartburn may be caused due to acid reflux, where your food backs ups from your stomach to your esophagus. This usually causes a burning sensation in your throat. On the other hand, chest pain may feel like heaviness in the chest and may be accompanied with some pain moving to the arm along with palpitations and shortness of breath.
