Meditation for Stress Relief: Session 5
Welcome to Day 5 of the practice! It is important to understand the effects of chronic stress on the mind and body. Repeated stress can result in a lack of clarity, negatively impact the immune and hormonal system. Most modern-day ailments like hypertension and diabetes have their root in chronic stress. Therefore it is essential to make time for activities like meditation, physical exercise or quite simply doing things you enjoy to break the repeated stress cycle.
