The human body is incredibly adaptable and that’s why we train. When you push beyond your body’s comfort levels, it undergoes the necessary adaptations and becomes stronger. Once your body has adapted, the same routine may help you maintain, but it is unlikely that you will see any further gains. You might even start going backwards if you get bored or burn out.
